Wimbledon 2016: Marina Erakovic's run ended by Carla Suarez NavarroSHAUN BOTTERILL/GETTY IMAGES Marina Erakovic's hopes of reaching the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time were dashed by Spaniard Carla Suarez Navarro. The New Zealand No 1 was defeated 6-2 6-2 by Spanish 12th seed Carla Suarez Navarro in 1 hour 5 minutes on Court 11 as rain again played a part in Day 5 at the All England Club. Marina Erakovic's bid to reach the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time lasted little over an hour on Friday (Saturday NZ Time). It was Erakovic's sixth match in 10 days in London, after winning through to the Wimbledon main draw with three wins in qualifying last week. Playing less than 24 hours after upsetting former world No 1 and 22nd seed Jelena Jankovic in the second round, Erakovic produced just 11 winners while making 27 unforced errors.
