A care home in the north western area of the county is set to undergo major improvements and refurbishment work. Claremont Residential Home in Corsham is the subject of a planning application that has just been approved by Wiltshire Council. New homes have been proposed at: 2 The Cedars, Littleworth, Pewsey, SN9 5LF; Waterhay Barn, Leigh; Land adjacent to Little Thatch, Stonebridge Lane, Marlborough, SN8 1AX. And refused at: Pipers Loft, Clarendon Park, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP5 3ES; 24 Doubledays, Cricklade, Swindon, SN6 6AU. Work on roofs, walls and windows is proposed at the following addresses: Carpenters Cottage, Green Street, Avebury, Marlborough, SN8 1RE; 10 Wesley Close, Southwick, Trowbridge, BA14 9NX; 59 High Street, Burbage, Marlborough, SN8 3AF.
