Former Administration Police officer Fredrick Leliman was the main suspect in the murder. [File, Standard]Four suspects in the murder of human rights lawyer Willie Kimani, his client Josephat Mwenda and driver Joseph Muiruri have been found guilty. The suspects are Fredrick Leliman (first accused), Stephen Cheburet (second accused), Sylvia Wanjiku (third accused) and Peter Ngugi (fifth accused). IJM also came on board and tasked Willie Kimani to defend Mwenda in the case at Mavoko Law Courts. However, the judge said the prosecution presented watertight evidence that implicated the four, with Leliman as the star player in the murder plot.
