Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has disclosed that former Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut narrowly escaped death several times. While mourning his death Saturday, Duale described the former MP as a live person who was full of humility as he mingled with colleagues and Kenyans. Chepkut, 'The only soul alive', as he had loved to call himself, had narrowly dodged death a number of times," Duale tweeted. Duale, however, did not disclose finer details of instances and how he survived the death threats. He continued to remember Chepkut as a selfless person who through their interactions in parliament oozed humour and wisdom.
