Our country won medals in 11 different sports — everything from wrestling to rugby sevens to equestrian. We won six medals in both athletics and swimming, the two sports with the deepest competitive fields in the Games. There are also suspicions about the six boxing medals won by France which, historically, isn’t a power in the sport. Sometimes they outrage — the boxing judges, Hope Solo, Ryan Lochte.
