It was Kokje’s first visit to Ayodhya after becoming the new VHP International President. He offered prayers at the Hanumangarhi temple and paid obeisance at the makeshift temple Ramjanambhoomi temple after taking a holy dip in the river Saryu. The VHP Chief also visited Karsevakpuram to inspect progress of stones being carved for the use in the construction of Ram temple. The new VHP Chief said that a few Muslim organisations are creating hurdles in the construction of Ram temple but they will not succeed. Otherwise, we will ask the Central government to bring an Ordinance to acquire the entire land for the construction of the Ram temple, in case the verdict is not to our satisfaction,” he declared .
