READER REPORT: Will Labour help me live longer? What I would like to know is, will part of this budget be allocated to help me live longer? Will part of this budget fund rare disease treatments that are currently woefully underfunded by the Government through its drug buying agency, Pharmac? In 2014 I was diagnosed with the rare and fatal Pompe disease. I want to know what the other political parties will do for me and the funding of rare disease medicines.
