Reading have signed Preston North End striker Will Keane on a loan deal through until the end of the season. The 33-year-old links back up with head coach Leam Richardson who he worked under at Wigan Athletic. Keane was the top goalscorer in League One during the Latics' title-winning season in the 2021-22 campaign. During his time at Wigan, Keane made 133 appearances and scored 50 goals, he has also previously played for Ipswich Town, Hull City, Sheffield Wednesday and QPR. "Will has a proven record of scoring goals in this division- and the one above-and will add plenty of quality to our frontline for the remainder of the season."
