Wife sues husband to bar him from their daughter’s dowryA Nakuru Court has given a 71-year-old man one last chance to reconcile with his 64-year-old wife or face a divorce suit. Chemutai filed a suit seeking to divorce Lang’at for demanding a share of their daughter’s bride price. In her petition, she wants her husband to be stopped from meddling with their daughter’s life and dowry, arguing that he abandoned them. Chemutai says Lang’at kept away until early 2017 when he contacted her demanding a share of their daughter’s bride price. However, Lang’at denied this.
