The first wife of former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana, Violet, died on Tuesday while undergoing dialysis at the Coptic Hospital. Deputy President William Ruto paid his condolences to the family on Twitter, referring to Violet as a devoted family woman. “Condolences to family and friends of former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana following the death of his wife, Violet Mungatana. She was a devoted family woman; kind and welcoming, who stood out for her generosity and warm heart. Mungatana, popularly known as “the Crocodile Eater” was Garsen MP between 2002-2013, elected on Narc and Narc-Kenya tickets respectively.
