The FBI arrested Noor Salman, the wife of the man who opened fire in Orlando, Florida’s Pulse nightclub last June and killed 49, Monday morning in the San Francisco Bay Area, an FBI spokesman confirmed to The Huffington Post. FBI agents had questioned Salman for hours after the shooting, The New York Times reported in November. Mateen was killed in a shootout with police following the hourslong standoff inside the club. CORRECTION: An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated Mateen killed 50 people. He killed 49.
