Molly’s family had already suffered two previous bereavements, when two of her brothers died in separate incidents. One person who expressed their sympathies with the Dempsey family said on rip.ie: “To Nigel Mary and all Molly's brothers, sisters and relatives I am so, so sorry for your loss. I hope Molly and her two brothers give u all the strength to get through this awful time. Sending my condolences to the Dempsey family on the loss of their baby girl." Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, or people with relevant dash camera footage, to contact Baltinglass Garda station on (059) 6482610, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
