Wichita State used a 16-3 run midway through the second half to pull away from Oklahoma State 80-61, on Sunday afternoon in Stillwater, Okla. Oklahoma State rallied to trim that deficit to just five, at 34-29, with 5:14 left before halftime. The Wichita State defense was excellent, limiting Oklahoma State to 38.5 percent shooting on 20 of 52 field goal attempts. Wichita State hit 11 of 26 threes, whereas Oklahoma State was just 3 of 16 from long distance. Both teams were turnover-prone –18 for Oklahoma State, 17 for Wichita State.
