Laikipia North MP Sarah Korere has explained why the party decided to kick out Jeremiah Kioni from the post of secretary general. Speaking on Thursday, Korere said Kioni had never called a members' meeting to discuss how they planned to work with Azimio after the elections. "Why we kicked out Kioni as SG is because as SG, he has never ever called members of parliament to discuss how we intend to engage Azimio going forward," Korere said. The MP faulted Kioni for insisting that the Jubilee party was founded and was being funded by former president Uhuru Kenyatta. They were replaced by an interim team led by EALA MP Kanini Kega, Eldas MP Aden Keynan and Kitui South MP Rachel Nyamai.
