Even after overcoming any reticence among participants about a return, it’s been a long road to get the “Friends” reunion to the screen. But over two days in April on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, the cast of “Friends” was there for us once more. Because of the pandemic, the cast of “Friends” convened outdoors — at the fountain from the show’s title sequence — for a portion of the special. Ben Winston, the director and producer of the “Friends” reunion, made sure to replicate the original sets as closely as possible — including this one for the group’s favorite hangout, Central Perk.
