Many fans are completely fed up with the debate over the Edmonton Oilers trading away Taylor Hall but it’s not going away any time soon. If there are injuries, weak link centres like Letestu or Anton Lander or a weak link winger like Iiro Pakarinen or Matt Hendricks could be asked to play over his level of competency and that will spell trouble. Last season, Anders Nilsson proved out to be a weak link and Cam Talbot was also one in the first few months of the season. The expected and relevant counterargumentsOf course, neither those who really love or truly hate the Hall trade are going to buy my line of thinking here. Exactly right, completely wrongIn the end, Oilers fans who hated the Hall trade are exactly right that trading away a stronger player for a weaker player fails to add up.
