“I’ve joked about the fact that I want to build a wall around West Virginia and keep all the kids here,” Gee said, chuckling. At one of the 10, Montclair State University, 16 students applied to transfer back from out of state, and half have accepted offers of admission, with others in the works. “But the short and long-term trends for a place like West Virginia are going to prove very positive.
