The International Space Station is considered a shining example of the uniting power of science. For starters, the U.S. doesn't have the authority to go ahead and privatize the entire space station. Experts say privatizing the International Space Station would be no simple matter. It says NASA would no longer directly fund the space station after 2025; not that it's planning to stop participating in the space station altogether.
