The proposed protocols for the resumption of sporting activities in the country have drawn mixed reaction from sports federations. Tennis Kenya (TK) said they are good to go when the government issues the guidelines on the resumption of sporting activities indicating that they already have customized guidelines. KSWF chairman Patrick Muyah said the novel coronavirus can’t withstand the chemicals used to purify swimming pools, adding that countries like the United States already have swimming back with stringent measures in place. “We will only need national team boxers back in training since we are planning a camp for them,” Munuhe said. “We now as a country need to sit down and put in place all the structures that will make these guidelines to succeed.
