Despite the never-ending rivalry between India and Pakistan, Pakistani dramas are attracting the people of India like crazy. Pakistani dramas are becoming the choice of many people in India instead of Indian daily soaps. Indian dramas are still stuck in typical saas-bahu things, but it is not with Pakistani dramas. Zindagi channel under Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited which telecasts Pakistani dramas has changed the idea of daily soaps in India. After the Uri attack in 2016, zee decided to stop telecasting Pakistani dramas and restricted them to its digital platform, Ozee.
