Still a relatively divided opinion, but certainly better than the sub-50 percent support Trump himself got in the election. Will Americans support a policy that sweeps up people awaiting asylum hearings or who have been granted protected status? It’s not like this doesn’t count, of course; a lot of Americans are Republicans, and they support Trump. A bare majority of Americans support his plan for tariffs.
