The recently concluded NBA regular season has been perhaps the most successful since the league began in 1946. At the end of the 2017-18 regular season, NBA ratings were up across all four networks when compared to last season. NBA fans are not just staying home to watch the action on TV, either. At the start of the 2017-18 season, there were 108 players from 42 countries and territories on NBA rosters. Many of today’s most promising young NBA players come from outside the United States.
