The Gunners are reportedly planning a move for Lorient's Alexis Claude-Maurice, who is valued at £9 million. The 20-year-old's form has led to interest from Arsenal, who see the striker as a potential bargain signing. What's more, he is a former teammate of Guendouzi, which the Gunners hope will persuade Claude-Maurice on a switch to the Emirates. Emery is confident of getting a deal over the line however, particularly with Guendouzi already on board. Arsenal already boast good relations with Lorient, having also negotiated a deal for Laurent Koscielny several years ago.
