Manchester United’s January approach for Jack Grealish was rebuffed by Aston Villa because they believe that staying in the Premier League is more important than the large lump-sum they would receive for selling their star midfielder. Grealish is reportedly going to cost potential buyers in the region of £60m when he eventually leaves Villa. This season he’s scored seven goals and registered five assists for his boyhood club, but Villa are languishing just above the relegation places. Sat in 16th place, the Midlands side are very much in a survival battle with the likes of West Ham, Bournemouth, Norwich and Watford.
