Nine Manchester United executives have escaped Old Trafford this week, as they jet off to Davos in pursuit of new sponsorship opportunities. According to a report on the Telegraph, the nine executives, headed up by chairman Avram Glazer and group managing director Richard Arnold all went to the World Economic Forum in the Swiss Alps. The club have signed many multimillion pound deals in recent years, including a kit deal with Adidas and a shirt sponsorship agreement with American automotive company Chevrolet. Despite matters off the pitch proving to be successful for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, the club has struggled on the pitch so far in this campaign.
