There was general surprise when Liverpool tweeted their thanks to Orient for hosting them on Monday afternoon, ahead of the Reds' huge Premier League clash at West Ham at the London Stadium in the evening. Referring to Orient's ground by its sponsor's name, the Reds' tweet read: "Final matchday preparations at the Breyer Group Stadium. Upon taking up ownership of the club in June 2017, Travis told The Guardian : "I’m very close to the Boston Red Sox people. So Liverpool decided to call in that favour ahead of a match that could take them five points clear at the top of the Premier League. If they can do that on Monday night, then Orient can at least feel partly responsible.
