They had been travelling from the US to the Philippines via South Korea, but were stranded in Seoul as Korean Air would not stop serving peanuts to nearby passengers around the teens. But they were told that they would not be accommodated about their allergies on the Korean Air flight so as not to "deprive other guests of peanuts". Reuters says the airline will now remove food containing peanuts from in-flight meals and will stop serving the treat.
