Nationals closer Koda Glover exchanged words with Yasiel Puig after striking out the Dodgers outfielder to end Tuesday night’s game. Puig worked the count full before Glover threw a pitch low and away, and got Puig to swing through for strike three. Glover said Puig was staring at him, and he did not like that, so he yelled at him. Cameras caught Glover telling Puig to go back to his dugout, in not so many words, at which point Puig wandered out toward the mound and Glover before cooler heads prevailed. “I don’t have any hard feelings toward him.”Yasiel Puig approaches the mound after Koda Glover strikes him out to end the game.
