Harambee Stars left-back Aboud Omar has revealed details behind his controversial sacking by Bulgarian side, Slavia Sofia. Omar joined the club in 2016 from Greek-based Panegialious, where he established himself as the first choice left back. With his football star glowing, Omar received offers from different clubs with Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Botev Plovdiv reportedly chasing his signature. After enjoying a two-and-half-year stay at the club, Omar was controversially sacked last week for allegedly using vulgar language but he believes his decision not to extend his contract engineered his sacking. The president wanted me to sign a new deal but I was keen to run my contract till June and join another club.
