Former news anchor Lizz Ntojira has opened up on quitting the NTV newsroom due to the bright lights that were affecting her. In an exclusive interview with Kenyans.co.ke, Ntojira recounted ditching anchoring to start a show dubbed Women and Power still at NTV. The former K24 TV reporter who made it to the Top 100 Kenyans 2020 demystified the popular perception that news anchoring is glamorous noting that the job failed to appeal to her. After leaving NTV Ntojira joined the Competitions Authority of Kenya as the Public Relations, Communications and External Affairs Manager in 2014. The former anchor is now focused on her Lizz Ntojira Network, a platform that provides innovative, engaging, interactive and tailored training and coaching for the youth.
