Star Wars was a game-changer as its worlds looked lived in. Disney used every trick in its spell book to recreate this rustic atmosphere in its first-ever Star Wars theme park lands at Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. Called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the land itself is the star attraction. Many theme park attractions have elaborate queues but that illusion is soon shattered when the ride vehicle pulls up as it feels out of place. At the front there is even an audio-animatronic figure of the ship’s commander, an anthropomorphic fish who looks like Star Wars fan-favorite Admiral Ackbar.
