Because I am having nightmarish flashbacks to season 5 where the Beth arc, and her eventual death, seemed designed entirely just to make Daryl sad. Daryl’s relationship with Beth was confusing. I am concerned that the show might kill Connie off yet again to send Daryl into a rage against the Whisperers. And I hated what happened with Beth (Beth should have lived and essentially taken on Enid’s role). I am hoping that in the Kang era, we don’t need Connie “fridged” just to motivate Daryl to kill even more Whisperers.
