Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) Boss Lieutenant General Mohammed Badi still hangs portraits of Members of Country Assembly (MCAs) allied to the Former Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko who opposed his appointment at City Hall. Speaking to the Standard, Badi stated that as a military man he has never forgotten how they opposed his tenure that's why he keeps the portrait. Sonko responding to Badi stated that Badi should focus on service delivery to the people of Nairobi and leave him alone as he exited the stage. On his future in the military, Badi refuted reports that he would be the next KDF boss due to his close relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
