Azimio la Umoja co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has said the coalition now recognises President William Ruto as a legitimate Head of State. Kalonzo spoke on Saturday when he attended the burial ceremony of Wiper nominated MCA Constance Mkamburi Mwandawiro in Voi, Taita Taveta county. He said the coalition recognises Ruto as the President because of his stance to keep the bi-partisan talks between the Kenyas Kwanza faction and Azimio going. He spoke words that shocked the people of Machakos, some were just staring at him in disbelief," Kalonzo said. Since the August 9 elections last year, the Azimio Coalition led by Raila Odinga refused to recognise Ruto as the democratically elected Head of State.
