Critiques of the New York Times itself are also fairly certain drivers of traffic. All of this came to mind while reading Bari Weiss’s recent open letter-of-resignation to New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger. Assuming conservatives were major readers of the Times, does Weiss want to bet that the slant would change on both the front and back (editorial) pages? Sorry, but having one’s character “openly demeaned on company-wide Slack channels” inside the New York Times sounds like heaven on earth. The New York Times swings left and is hostile toward those who don’t similarly swing that way.
