Akshay Kumar has come under fire for making an inappropriate comment to comedian Mallika Dua, his co-judge, on the show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Akshay "jokingly" told Mallika, "Mallika ji aap bell bajao, main aapko bajata hoon." (sic)"Her father, veteran journalist Vinod Dua, lashed out at Akshay Kumar in a Facebook post that was deleted later, saying, "I am going to screw this cretin Akshay Kumar for telling his co-worker Mallika Dua that "aap bell bajao main aap ko bajata hun" at 5:26. Akshay Kumar himself has starred in severely misogynistic films like Rowdy Rathore, where he pinches the waist of his love interest, played by Sonakshi Sinha, and keeps referring to her as 'mera maal'. And goes without saying that Mallika and Vinod Dua deleting their respective posts on social media don't help either.
