Considering that most classic video game consoles look thoroughly terrible on modern TVs, the attraction of a micro console like the NES Classic Edition is obvious but it is misguided. Not to mention that in the case of the NES Classic Edition, the game pads for it have comically short cables. This is the point; the Retro Freak brings classic games to life because you can use the original cartridges they were released on. Obviously, the Retro Freak is more expensive than something like the NES Classic Edition is but the value it offers is obvious. Disclosure: I bought my Retro Freak console with my own money.
