On Sunday, a French fencer’s cell phone fell out of his back left pocket during a qualifying match in men’s individual foil. Enzo Lefort was caught off balance by his opponent, Germany’s Peter Joppich, leading to the dislodging of his phone. B) Maybe Lefort had wrapped up a pre-match Tinder session and couldn’t bear missing a message from a certain somebody? And judging by his victory celebration, as you can see in the photo, Joppich is probably fine with not knowing. Lefort, clearly embarrassed, quickly scooped up the phone and passed it to a man on the sidelines.
