Whole of England set for month-long lockdownAll of England is to be plunged into a new Tier 4, lockdown, Sky News reports. All pubs and restaurants are to close and non-essential retail will be asked to close - though supermarkets won't have to cordon off any areas. There will be no mixing outside homes, while chools and universities will remain open. Construction, parliament and courts will also remain open. The new measures will last until December 2, Sky political editor Beth Rigby understands.
