Later, I decided to go to Ekiti, my state of origin to contest election to come to the National Assembly and ended up in the House of Representatives. In the National Assembly, there have been bills seeking to establish federal institutions in different parts of the country, creating an impression of even unitarising the entity. The National Assembly can only make laws for the Federation. To a very large extent, the people we have in the National Assembly are elected representatives of the Nigerian people. Some members of the public genuinely were concerned on why will the National Assembly approve any loan request for the executive?
