Who should be Blue Jays starter for wild-card game vs. O’s?

The Blue Jays would have preferred to have Aaron Sanchez available for Tuesday’s one-and-done wild-card game against the Baltimore Orioles, but they had to use the young righty on the final game of the season to secure their berth. So the choice is between Marcus Stroman and Francisco Liriano, their two starters who would be on regular rest. The early expectation is that Stroman will get the ball with Liriano available out of the bullpen, but it won’t be made official until this afternoon. Stroman and Liriano have pitched well in recent weeks, but neither have had great success against Baltimore in their careers. The Orioles are likely to counter with either Chris Tillman or Ubaldo Jimenez, who both pitched well in Toronto last week.
