At the end of the 11 o’clock Mass in Dublin’s Pro-Cathedral last Sunday morning Archbishop Diarmuid Martin reminded the congregation that Pope Francis would be visiting there on Saturday, August 25th at 3.30pm. As the archbishop said, it will be “the first time a pope has ever visited this cathedral church”.
