NEW DELHI: Meat exporter Moin Qureshi , alleged to be the biggest tax evader of India, has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection to a money laundering case. Qureshi is being probed for allegedly remitting funds through hawala channels to Dubai, London and a few other destinations in Europe. He faces probes by multiple investigating agencies for alleged tax evasion, money laundering and corruption An alumni of Dehradun's elite Doon School and Delhi's St Stephen's College, Qureshi is said to be good at making connections at the highest places. The CBI alleged that Qureshi had been working as a middleman for "certain public servants" and that the analysis of records discloses commission of cognizable offences. Qureshi has been accused of operating as a middleman for several public servants including AP Singh.
