Who is Jayda Fransen, deputy leader of Britain First?

Fransen, 31, lives in southeast London, and has been convicted of a hate crime for harassing a Muslim woman, and has recently been charged with religiously aggravated harassment. It has also made its presence known with “Christian patrols” through Muslim neighbourhoods in various British cities. It was during one of these patrols in Luton in 2016 that Fransen encountered Sumayyah Sharpe and her children. pic.twitter.com/KJOpzXBqDN — Jayda Fransen (@JaydaBF) March 16, 2017She was arrested again in May this year and released with strict bail conditions that prevented her from hosting planned protests.
