Linda Liddell, 54, of Duke Street, Whitehaven, pleaded guilty on January 16 and was sentenced at Workington Magistrates Court yesterday (January 21). The offences included a battery on Duke Street on December 29, 2025, as well as breaches of a Criminal Behaviour Order on December 15 and 17. Liddell also admitted a public order offence committed on Duke Street on December 23, along with harassment offences carried out between December 15 and 23. In addition, the court heard that Liddell persistently made use of a public communications network between January 5 and 15, 2026. She was given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order on Monday, December 15, after being convicted of offences including assault, actual bodily harm, drunk and disorderly, and misuse of 999.
