Updated Feb. 12, 2026, 2:21 p.m. MTOn the morning of Feb. 12, investigators set up a white tent that covered the entire Spanish tiled entry to the front door of Nancy Guthrie's house, according to footage shown on CNN. The home of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie, has been the scene of intermittent law enforcement activity since she was reported missing on Feb. 1. In previous days, law enforcement was seen on the roof of the Guthrie home and poking instruments into the home's septic tank. The home of Nancy Guthrie wasn't a crime scene hours after she was reported missing. Journalists, including one from The Republic, were able to walk up to the front door Feb. 3 and see blood splatters, later confirmed to be from Nancy Guthrie, on the Spanish-tiled entry.
