Amherst police are investigating after a local family says a small white pill was found in a bag of jellybeans, part of a young girl's Halloween candy stash. The Amherst Police Service said it learned about the pill through a Facebook post and reached out to the family. The family told police they found the pill when they were going through the girl's candy bag. Randy Babineau said the pill looks to be an "illicit drug of some sort." It's the latest report of candy tampering this Halloween season.
