A section of Nyanza leaders have continued to pledge their support to President William Ruto. The leaders appreciated the President for his commitment to including the Nyanza region in his plans. On his part, Cabinet Secretary for ICT Eliud Owalo said the Nyanza region had for the first time felt a sense of belonging in the government. "For the first time since independence, we have a government where we (Nyanza) have a sense of belonging," he said. President Ruto is the chief guest at the ceremony.
