Madhavanmore-inTwo sharp and narrow bends on Porur–Kundrathur Main Road in Kovur account for a majority of accidents on this stretch. “Many motorists drive rashly through the sharp bends,” says S. Pandiselvan, a resident of Kundrathur. Farmers from the surrounding villages travel on Porur – Kundrathur Main Road to sell their produce at markets in Kundrathur, Poonamallee and Koyambedu. There is very little space for pedestrians on Porur-Kundrathur Main Rioad, and so, they have to wait for the traffic to ease ro walk.
