Where is Noughts and Crosses filmed? The real-life locations used to create Albion

Although the series is set in an alternate world in the city of Albion, the backdrops weren't created in studios but rather filmed on location. The cast and crew headed to South Africa for filming, predominantly shooting scenes in Cape Town and surrounding regions. For example, the Cape Town docks were used for plenty of exterior shots, while various streets and locations across the city centre also provided the settings for a majority of the action. It was here that production found a luxurious house which they used for the Hadley family mansion (where Sephy lives). The region sits about 15km outside of Cape Town's city centre, and is a popular wine tourism destination.
